Bristol Village Postcards by Len Nasman

One of the treasures of
Bristol Village
is the Mary Cooper Wildflower Woods. Mary led a group of volunteers from the
Horticulture Club in cleaning up an overgrown section of land at the end of
Wendy Lane. After clearing brush and adding paths, Mary and her friends have
planted an amazing collection of wildflowers. I have made it my business to take
pictures of the flowers as they come into season, and to post these pictures on
a bulletin board in the Activities Center.
Many of the pictures seemed to meet the approval of the
Bristol Village residents. So, I decided to share the pictures by creating a
series of postcards and placing them for sale in the Nook. (The Nook is a room
in the Activities Center where arts and crafts created by residents are
displayed and sold.) I also added a few scenes from around the Village to the
collection of wildflower pictures for those who want a convenient way to share
views of Bristol Village and correspond with friends.
I now present the postcards here for your enjoyment.
